Privacy Policy

1. Our commitment: Privacy by Design

At easyopti, we understand that workforce scheduling data (employee names, contract types, work schedules, compensation, time-off details) represents highly sensitive and confidential information.

That is why our platform is built on the "Privacy by Design" principle. Unlike traditional SaaS software that streams your data to remote servers for processing, our architecture ensures complete, local control over your enterprise data.

2. Local data processing (WebAssembly & IndexedDB)

At the core of our technology is local execution. When you run a schedule optimization, the mathematical solver (compiled to WebAssembly) executes directly and exclusively in the memory of your own device (desktop or tablet).

Your business data never passes over the internet during the calculation phase. It is neither read, analyzed, nor stored by our servers.

By default, your application state and ongoing schedules are saved locally in your browser's database (IndexedDB). This allows you to resume your work even after closing the tab. If you clear your browser's browsing data, this local information will be permanently deleted.

3. Data collected during account creation

Basic usage of easyopti can be done completely anonymously (ghost session). However, if you decide to create an account to benefit from advanced features, we collect a minimum amount of personal information via our secure authentication provider (Firebase Authentication):

  • Your email address (used as a unique identifier and for password resets).
  • An encrypted password (which we can neither read nor recover).
  • An automatically generated unique technical identifier (UID).

We do not ask for any unnecessary information (no phone number, no postal address) during standard registration.

4. Optional Cloud Backup (Firebase Storage)

If you are logged into an account, you have the option to use the "Save to Cloud" feature. This voluntary action stores your schedule files on Google Cloud's secure infrastructure (Firebase Storage) so that you can retrieve them from another device.

These files are stored in isolated spaces (multi-tenant architecture). Only your user account (via your UID) holds the cryptographic rights to read, modify, or delete these files. The easyopti team formally commits to never opening, analyzing, reselling, or commercially exploiting the content of your backup files.

5. Cookies, Trackers, and Analytics

We hate intrusive cookie banners as much as you do. That's why easyopti drastically limits the use of trackers:

  • Strict technical cookies: Used solely to keep your login session active and secure the application. They are exempt from prior consent.
  • Anonymized analytics: We use Firebase Analytics in an aggregated manner to understand which features are used most frequently (e.g., clicks on the "Optimize" button) and to detect technical errors. No data allowing you or your employees to be personally identified is transmitted to these tools.

We do not integrate any third-party advertising trackers (no Facebook Pixel, no ad retargeting).

6. Exercising Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have full control over your personal information. You have the right to access your data, rectify it, request its portability, or request its complete erasure.

You can exercise your right to be forgotten independently: deleting your account from the application settings results in the immediate and irreversible destruction of your authentication profile as well as all schedule files associated with your UID in our Cloud.

For any specific questions regarding the protection of your data or to exercise your rights manually, you can contact us via the contact form available on the website.
