Privacy Policy

1. Our Commitment: "Privacy by Design"

At easyopti, we understand that your team scheduling data (employee names, contract types, working hours, salaries, unavailabilities) is highly sensitive and confidential information.

That is why we built our platform around the principle of "Privacy by Design". Unlike most traditional SaaS solutions that upload your data to their servers for processing, our architecture ensures you maintain complete control over your business information.

2. Local Data Processing (WebAssembly & IndexedDB)

The core of our technology relies on local execution. When you run a schedule optimization, the mathematical solver (compiled to WebAssembly) runs directly and exclusively within the memory of your own device (computer or tablet).

Your business data never travels over the internet during the computation phase. It is neither read, analyzed, nor stored by our servers.

By default, your application state and active schedules are saved locally in your browser's database (IndexedDB). This allows you to pick up where you left off even after closing the tab. If you clear your browser's browsing data, this local information will be permanently deleted.

3. Data Collected Upon Account Creation

Basic use of easyopti can be done completely anonymously (guest session). However, if you choose to create an account to access advanced features, we collect a minimal amount of personal information via our secure authentication provider (Firebase Authentication):

  • Your email address (used as a unique identifier and for password resets).
  • An encrypted password (which we cannot read or recover).
  • An automatically generated unique technical identifier (UID).

We do not ask for any unnecessary information (no phone number, no postal address) during standard registration.

4. Optional Cloud Backup (Firebase Storage)

If you are logged into an account, you have the option to use the "Save to Cloud" feature. This voluntary action allows you to store your schedule files on Google Cloud's secure infrastructure (Firebase Storage), so you can retrieve them from another device.

These files are stored in isolated spaces (multi-tenant architecture). Only your user account (via your UID) has the cryptographic rights to read, modify, or delete these files. The easyopti team formally commits never to open, analyze, resell, or commercially exploit the content of your backup files.

5. Cookies, Trackers, and Analytics

We hate intrusive cookie banners as much as you do. That's why easyopti drastically limits the use of trackers:

  • Strictly technical cookies: Used solely to keep your login session active and secure the application. They are exempt from prior consent.
  • Anonymized Analytics: We use Firebase Analytics in an aggregated manner to understand which features are most used (e.g., clicks on the "Optimize" button) and detect technical issues. No personally identifiable information about you or your employees is transmitted to these tools.

We do not embed any third-party advertising trackers (no Facebook pixel, no ad retargeting).

6. Exercising Your Rights (GDPR)

In accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have full control over your personal information. You have the right to access, rectify, request the portability of, or completely erase your data.

You can exercise your right to be forgotten independently: deleting your account from the application settings results in the immediate and irreversible destruction of your authentication profile as well as all schedule files associated with your UID in our Cloud.

For any specific questions regarding data protection or to exercise your rights manually, you can contact us via the contact form available on the website.
